The initial data in this is just NHDFlowlines, and the 'M' coordinate has been removed (as GeoParquet does not yet support M).
This repository is just some experimentation right now. To start it only provides NDHFlowlines, with the M coordinate stripped. Attempts to convert some of the other fully country layers didn't go as well.
The process to get the flowlines was to download the GeoPackage from https://prd-tnm.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=StagedProducts/Hydrography/NHD/National/GPKG/ and export was done with QGIS into FlatGeobuf. This did the spatial ordering, and then it was translated into GeoParquet with GDAL, using the defaults plus zstd compression.
