Space2Stats
The Space2Stats program is designed to provide academics, statisticians, and data scientists with easier access to regularly requested geospatial aggregate data. The primary deliverable is a database of geospatial aggregates at two official scales: Official World Bank boundaries at admin level 2, and a global database of h3 hexagons at level 6 (~36km2). The Space2Stats program is funded by the World Bank’s Global Data Facility, which is a World-Bank hosted funding instrument for the world’s most critical data impact opportunities. https://worldbank.github.io/DECAT_Space2Stats/readme.html

World Bank Global Administrative Boundaries
High resolution, World Bank-approved administrative boundaries. Includes Admin 0, 1, 2, Non-Determined Legal Status Areas (NDLSA), and an ocean mask. An Admin 0 line file (for visualization purposes with World Bank-specific drawing instructions) can also be found. A data dictionary and additional columns of information which can be joined to the Admin 1 and 2 files are available as separate downloads. To report an error in any of the admin boundary files, please raise a new issue here: https://github.com/worldbank/WB_GAD/issues and it will be considered during the next update cycle.
