EN. Topographic maps and raster layers. 26 layers are published by geodata.gov.md through WMS only. The collection links to the live services; it contains no mirrored data.
These layers are published as rasters or as layer groups rather than as feature types, so WFS does not serve them even though the workspace has WFS enabled. They include the scanned topographic map series from 1:2 000 to 1:50 000.
Each item has:

https://geodata.gov.md/geoserver/owspreview asset whose href is a GetMap request returning a PNGThe collection's thumbnail asset is a rendering of its first layer, fetched
from the same service.
The only access is rendering. A GetMap request returns an image of a window
you specify; there is no request that returns features or pixels as data.
Two cautions. The service reports failures as an XML ServiceException with
HTTP 200, so check that the response begins with the PNG magic number rather
than trusting the status code. And bounding boxes for GetMap here are in
WGS84 in x,y order, unlike the WFS on the same server, which requires y,x
for its URN-form CRS.
The data collections in this catalog are all EPSG:4026 GeoParquet with real assets. Use those collections when downloadable data is required. The catalog's AGENTS.md lists them.
