Building Footprints
Outlines of buildings and related structures across Philadelphia, captured photogrammetrically from aerial imagery. The layer covers residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, along with isolated garages, mobile homes, sheds, greenhouses, silos, and buildings under construction that have walls.
546,083 polygons carry an approximate height (approx_hgt), a footprint area in square feet, and a feature code. The published FCODE key defines 1810 as Building (545,339 rows) and 1830 as Tank (61 rows).
parcel_id_num links a footprint to its parcel in dor_parcel. See AGENTS.md for the join.

Processing Notes
Extracted 2026-08-26 from the LI_BUILDING_FOOTPRINTS FeatureServer. FCODE values were decoded from the PASDA metadata record, which states "FCODE Key 1810 = Building 1830 = Tank". The same record describes the capture rules, including a 150 square foot minimum structure size.

Known Issues
683 rows carry fcode = 0, which the published key does not define. It covers only 1810 and 1830.
235 rows have a null approx_hgt. The height styles place these in their own bin rather than silently dropping them.
Tippecanoe dropped features from z10 and z11 tiles to stay under its 200,000-feature limit. The GeoParquet is complete.
