This repository aims to convert and publish historical topographic maps of Japan after the introduction of modern surveying techniques, making them suitable for web-based viewing. Currently, the following maps are provided in PMTiles format:
These maps were created using a simplified surveying method during the early to mid-Meiji period. In the Kanto region, they were produced between 1880 (Meiji 13) and 1886 (Meiji 19), covering the plains and the Boso Peninsula.
Created in the 1880s, these detailed survey maps focus on the central area of Tokyo and were produced by the Survey Bureau of the Army General Staff Office.
We will continue to expand this collection, promoting the distribution and utilization of geospatial information.
このリポジトリは、日本に近代的な測量技術が導入されて以降の歴史的な地形図を、Web 上での閲覧に適した形式に変換し、公開することを目的としています。現時点で、以下の地図を PMTiles 形式 で提供します。
明治初期から中期にかけて行われた簡便な測量法による地図です。関東地方では、明治13年 (1880) から明治19年 (1886) にかけて、平野部から房羽半島を対象に作成されました。
明治10年代に、参議本部陸軍部測量局が東京中心部を対象に作成した詳細な測量図です。
今後もデータの拡充を行い、地球空間情報の流通および利活用の推進を目指します。
