AgERA5 Dekad Anomaly Agro-Meteorological Indicators

Name: AgERA5 Dekad Anomaly Agro-Meteorological Indicators
Creator: WFP - World Food Programme

Dekadal (10-day) anomalies of 24h maximum temperature (K) and reference evapotranspiration (%) against the 1991-2020 average, computed by WFP from ECMWF/C3S's AgERA5 (Agrometeorological indicators from 1979 to present derived from reanalysis), with rolling 1-12 dekad windows, 1979-present, global, 0.1°, as COG.

README

AgERA5 Dekad Anomaly Agro-Meteorological Indicators

Dekad (10-day) anomalies of 24h maximum air temperature (t2mx24h) and reference evapotranspiration (et0), derived from the daily AgERA5 dataset. Anomalies are departures from the long-term average over the 1991-2020 reference period. Each variable comes as a single-dekad anomaly plus rolling multi-dekad windows (temperature: 1, 3 and 6 dekads and a 2-month window; ET0: 1 to 6 dekads), and both have a 12-dekad (annual) rolling window.

For methodology and caveats, see the source AgERA5 dataset page and its Product User Guide and Specification.

Data organization

collection.geoparquet is a stac-geoparquet export of the collection's Items, one row per item with its geometry and asset hrefs.
README.md is this file.
v0/<year>/<month>/ holds one COG per variable and dekad, named wld<var><YYYYMM>d<N>.tif. <var> is the asset key (e.g. etq, ktd) and d<N> is the dekad of the month (1 to 3).
