16-day NDVI from NASA LP DAAC's VIIRS/JPSS2 Vegetation Indices 16-Day L3 Global 0.05Deg CMG V002 (VJ213C1, NOAA-21), 2023-present, global, 0.05 deg, as Cloud Optimized GeoTIFFs.
16-day Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) from the VIIRS sensor on NOAA-21 (JPSS-2), at 0.05 degree resolution on the 0.05 degree Climate Modeling Grid (CMG). Each composite selects the best available observation per pixel over the 16-day period. The product continues the MODIS vegetation index record. Only the NDVI layer of the NASA LP DAAC VJ213C1 version 2 product is stored here, without further processing.

NDVI is stored as scaled integers: multiply by 0.0001 and mask -15000 to get values in [-1, 1].
CC0-1.0. NASA data are free of use restrictions; LP DAAC asks that the dataset be cited (see the citation above) in publications using it.
This dataset was prepared and published through the WFP Humanitarian Data Cube (HDC).
It is also served live from the HDC STAC API:
