The Wildland Almanac is an open record of how wildland ecosystems change over time — vegetation structure, fuel loads, fire hazard, biomass, hydrology, and disturbance history across forests, shrublands, and grasslands. Built from the Landsat archive using a unified approach that emphasizes temporal and cross-property consistency, it is designed to track change and reveal tradeoffs. The Almanac is produced and openly shared by university scientists to support decision-making and scientific discovery.
