shelf_mask_ismip8km.nc: an integer identifier for each ice shelf on the ISMIP7 8 km
grid (0 elsewhere), used to aggregate melt rates per shelf. It is the PICO shelf mask of
a PISM diagnostic run (PISM 2.2.2, March 2026) by the ISMIP7 AIS ocean focus group, on
geometry from BedMachine Antarctica regridded to the ISMIP 8 km grid (the file records
the source as BedMachine but not which release; the current one is v3).
