Capas de referencia oficiales del Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN) de la República Argentina, extraídas de su servicio WFS y publicadas como GeoParquet optimizado para la nube. Incluye hidrografía, geomorfología y relieve, transporte e infraestructura vial, límites político-administrativos, asentamientos y edificios, vegetación, geodesia y otras categorías del modelo de datos vectorial del IGN. Datos de uso público conforme al Artículo 2 de la Ley 27.275 de Derecho de Acceso a la Información Pública.

catalog.json → theme → subtheme where present → leaf collection. Each leaf has collection.json, README, AGENTS, GeoParquet, PMTiles, style, and thumbnail. The es and en trees are equivalents, not containment relationships.
Use the HTTPS URLs with DuckDB/GeoPandas and S3 for authenticated clients. Load DuckDB’s httpfs and spatial. Before writing a query, read the collection-specific README: it lists actual columns, observed values, and valid examples.
Do not treat undocumented codes (entidad, fun, fdc, sag) as verified categories. objeto, fna, gna, and nam are source labels, not harmonized semantic models. GeoParquet is EPSG:4326; PMTiles cannot display south of ~85.0511° because of the Web Mercator limit.
Edit the Spanish root tree and regenerate en/; never alter identifier values in translation. alternate connects equivalent objects.
