Chocó, south of Quibdó (SkySat, post-event) — 18 August 2026
Very-high-resolution (~0.66 m) SkySat collects acquired 18 August 2026 at 20:00 UTC, eight days after the mainshock, over rural Chocó roughly 26 km south-south-west of Quibdó and about 91 km north-west of the epicentre. Two adjacent collects covering the valley floor and surrounding slopes, the western frame extending to -76.855 and the eastern to -76.653. Visual, pansharpened and unusable-data-mask products. Observing conditions are the best of any SkySat coverage in this catalog: cloud is 10%, clear fraction 80%, and the 20:00 UTC pass is 15:00 local, giving a 47.6 degree sun elevation — short shadows and even illumination across both frames, in contrast to the 10 and 13 August Quibdó collects where a low morning sun and pervasive haze left only about 4% of each footprint fully clear. That makes this pair the most suitable SkySat data here for automated differencing and for interpretation of terrain and small structures, though it images a different target from the Quibdó collects and so does not provide a same-scene repeat with them. Extensive pale alluvial workings and bare channel deposits are visible along the river through both frames; these are a long-standing feature of this part of Chocó and should not be read as earthquake damage without a pre-event comparison — the only pre-event coverage in this catalog is the Q2 2026 basemap at ~4.8 m, roughly seven times coarser than these collects. Unlike the other SkySat collections in this catalog these Items carry no UDM2 mask, only the single-band UDM: the delivery was ordered as the visual and pansharpened bundles rather than pansharpened_udm2. 2 scenes; each Item carries the available visual, pansharpened, and udm assets.
