Planet Crisis Response Program imagery documenting Hurricane Melissa's impact on Jamaica. Melissa made landfall in southwestern Jamaica on 28 October 2025 as a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane. The catalog is split into post-event high-resolution SkySat collects (~0.8 m) acquired 3–4 November 2025 over the landfall zone, and a pre-event SkySat baseline (Oct 2023, the most recent cloud-free SkySat of these locations before the storm) for before/after comparison — both organised by affected location (Savanna-la-Mar, Black River). Everything is plain HTTPS — no credentials, no signing, no request-payer.
Two caveats worth knowing before you write a fetch loop:
Python-urllib User-Agent. Send a
browser or curl UA if you use urllib; requests, curl, GDAL/rasterio, rio-tiler and
DuckDB all work as-is.aws s3 ls; navigate the STAC
links instead — every object links to its parent, children and items../post-event/catalog.json./pre-event/catalog.jsonfile:size and file:checksum (sha256 multihash, 1220-prefixed) so a download can be verified.proj:code.
