Galician Crop Fields: The Geographic Information System for Agricultural Plots (SIXPAC) is an official reference database for the identification of agricultural plots, which is mandatory in Spain for making applications for direct CAP aid that require declaring surface areas.
SIXPAC information is relevant to farmers applying for these aid schemes, so that they can indicate the location of the farm surfaces that may be eligible for subsidies, as well as to facilitate the submission of requests for changes to data relating to land uses contained in the system.
The latest edition is also available at a stable path: es_ga/latest/es_ga.parquet. All editions together through the S3 glob s3://ftw/harmonized-field-data/es_ga/year=*/*.parquet (see the AGENTS.md for the DuckDB setup; plain https cannot expand *).
Properties that are the same for every field are stored once, in the GeoParquet file's collection metadata rather than as columns (latest edition shown; a client reading only the table will not see them):
Query the published files in place with DuckDB; nothing needs downloading first.
