Planet makes available select imagery for major disaster events, including major earthquakes, floods, storms, wildfires, and human-made disasters. These are available here in a STAC Catalog under a CC-BY-NC license. See the Planet Disaster Data page for more information.
Pre-event baseline from the Planet global quarterly basemap for Q2 2026 (imagery acquired 1 April – 1 July 2026), covering the earthquake-affected region of western Colombia at ~4.8 m ground sample distance. 93 quads span the Pacific cordillera from Chocó through Valle del Cauca and Cauca to Risaralda, all fully covered, providing a cloud-free reference surface for change detection against the post-event PlanetScope and SkySat imagery. Quads are true-colour RGB with an alpha band, in Web Mercator (EPSG:3857). 93 quads.
