Post-fire Planet SkySat imagery of the Gironde/Landes Atlantic wildfire complex near Bordeaux, southwestern France (the Le Porge → Arès run of the July 2026 fires). The fire started ~23 July 2026, burned an estimated ~34,000–45,000 ha of Landes pine forest and coastal dune habitat around the Arcachon Basin, prompting ~250,000 evacuations and activation of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. These very-high-resolution (~0.7 m) SkySat collects were acquired on 29 July 2026, after the fire was contained, and support burn-severity mapping and damage assessment over the pine forest and wildland–urban interface.
