Pacific Spatial Solutions (PSS) is a Tokyo-based location-intelligence consulting firm founded in 2012. It specializes in 2D/3D geospatial data integration and AI analysis. Its projects include MLIT's PLATEAU and Tokyo's digital twin. As a member of OSGeo Japan and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), PSS supports open standards and open-source geospatial technology, and it shares its own tools and knowledge to make open data more accessible to everyone. Parcel information of Japanese farmland. The “筆ポリゴン” (Fude Polygon) data, provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), represents parcel information of farmland. This data is available for the fiscal years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. As of November 20, 2024, the original data can be accessed and downloaded from the following sources:

Flateau (Building footprint data in Japan)
We prepared data for each city where original Plateau (National government open data project) CityGML data are available in 2024/05. The Plateau project keeps adding more cities every year. So, hopefully we can keep adding more cities in the future. You can download data as geoparquet or geopackage formats and use our data freely under CC-BY 4.0 license.

Japanese Vegetation Map (1/25,000)
This data is based on the Natural Environment Conservation Basic Survey conducted by the Ministry of the Environment's Biodiversity Center. The spatial scale of this data set is in 1/25,000. Original data was prepared as a series of Shapefile and publially avaiable for your download (http://gis.biodic.go.jp/webgis/sc-025.html?kind=vg67). We downloaded and merged all shapefile while fixing various schema anomality. We also translated categorical descriptions into English using ChatGPT4o.
